0.6.0 is a pre-release for the opt-in, no-telemetry external Canary.

  • Read the Canary protocol before installing.
  • Submit only the credential-free Canary report form.
  • The cohort is currently collecting participants; the 30-day clock remains not_started until five independently qualifying external Apple Silicon Macs are accepted.
  • Verify the downloaded ZIP before running extracted files; the packaged verifier checks manifest, checksums, SPDX SBOM, source commit and all six GitHub attestations.
