• Any provider/model now defaults to unbounded retry (mode:always): connection errors, 503/429, JSON parse failures all keep retrying with exponential backoff until success or user cancellation, instead of stopping after 2 attempts.
• Explicit mode:normal config still honored.
• Retains agent-loop auto-continue patch.
