• bb_get_file_content and bb_browse_repository ref resolution with slashes — Fixed file content retrieval and subdirectory browsing for branch and tag names containing forward slashes (e.g., feature/SSP-1024). The server now systematically resolves references to a full Git commit SHA using /refs/branches/ and /refs/tags/ endpoints before retrieving files or folders, avoiding 404 Not Found - Commit not found errors.
• Improved resolution fallback validation — Added a strict guard where slash-containing refs that fail resolution do not fall back to the problematic direct /src/ path, raising a clear, actionable custom BitbucketApiError to the host instead.
• Robust error preservation — Only HTTP 404 responses are suppressed during reference resolution, ensuring authentication failures, rate-limiting, and server errors (like 401, 403, 429, 500) are correctly surfaced immediately.
• Regression test coverage — Added thorough unit and integration test coverage for reference resolution, branch/tag resolution, and edge cases (increasing the test suite to 189 unit tests).
