Journal View (Wren) 1.3.0

• Journal View (Wren) is now a separate Obsidian plugin with its own ID. The fork keeps its Reflect-inspired design, heading and spacing options, navigation controls, Completed Tasks support, and expanded selection.
• Added RUverse's yearly statistics view with daily word counts.

Fixes

• Kept frontmatter and hidden headings intact when journal edits are shared with another open note view.
• Carried the fork's save recovery and conflict-copy safeguards through the upstream 1.3.0 merge.

Install by placing main.js, manifest.json, and styles.css together in .obsidian/plugins/journal-view-wren/, then enabling Journal View (Wren).

Fixes

• Keep the space occupied by a visible daily note when clicking from its preview into the editor, preventing a shorter editor from pulling the notes below upward.
• Keep that space during initial editor setup and focus. Normal text edits and returning to preview mode release it.

Includes the save-recovery and memory improvements from 1.3.0-beta.3.

Verified with 31 automated regression tests, TypeScript checks, lint, and a production build. The focus tests use controlled layout measurements; this hotfix has not been tested interactively in Obsidian.

The release includes the three individual Obsidian plugin files: main.js, manifest.json, and styles.css.

Reliability and memory beta. Fixes save recovery, editor read failures, conflict-copy updates, stale async work, rename and configuration races, while reducing unfiltered index memory and search allocations. Validated with 27 regression tests, type checks, lint, and a production build.

Auto counts source lines in the visible note body, including blank lines. It excludes frontmatter, a hidden H1, and visual line wrapping.

• Included upstream fixes for word counts, active-file tracking, filtered date-command targets, startup handling and the mobile date picker.

This is a prerelease. Type checks, build, lint and 23 focused behaviour checks passed. Live Obsidian UI testing was unavailable.
