Weekday Commands 0.1.5 improves reliability, reduces work when opening the date picker, and makes the picker easier to use.
- Supports daily-note formats with nested folders, including recent-note shortcuts and Journal View navigation.
- Handles simultaneous commands, folder-creation races, and notes arriving through sync without duplicate creation or overwriting existing content.
- Keeps the picker usable after failed opens, with visible busy and error feedback.
- Finds recent notes inside the configured folder without sorting the whole vault's markdown list.
- Corrects upcoming named months and rejects invalid calendar dates and overflowing relative offsets.
- Saves folder settings on committed edits rather than every keystroke, with ordered writes and failure notices.
- Adds an Open note button, readable recent dates, larger touch targets, and subtle pointer press feedback following Emil Kowalski's guidance. Keyboard use stays immediate and reduced motion is respected.
- Adds 42 regression tests. Lint, type checking, build, and tests pass.
No recurring timers, vault watchers, network calls, or new runtime dependencies. UI behavior was checked through automated API/DOM substitutes; the host Obsidian UI and animation feel were not manually tested.
Install using the separate main.js, manifest.json, and styles.css assets below. Obsidian 1.5.0 remains the declared minimum version.
