OpenSmash Melee 0.3.1 includes the latest desktop fixes for Windows and Apple Silicon Macs.

  • Fullscreen fills the display and consistently hides the character grid.
  • Checks controller availability before preparing characters.
  • Prepares up to four characters concurrently, with faster staging and clearer loading progress.
  • Expands default roster assignments to all supported Melee movesets.
  • Fixes Ice Climbers costume memory exhaustion and improves stock icon presentation.
  • Adds a guided Windows installer with shortcut options and a branded drag-to-Applications macOS DMG.

Select your own Melee USA 1.02 disc on first launch. Existing saves and prepared characters are retained outside the installation folder.

These builds are unsigned; the macOS build is for Apple Silicon.
