• Modernized Codebase: Refactored to use Go 1.24+ best practices, removed most third-party dependencies, and improved maintainability.
• Syscall Reporting: Blocked syscalls are now mapped to names and descriptions using an external syscalls_linux.tbl file, with robust runtime loading and clear output.
• Seccomp & Capabilities: Added accurate seccomp mode detection and detailed process capabilities reporting.
• Efficient Socket Detection: Replaced slow filesystem walk with fast checks for common Docker/OCI socket paths, with improved diagnostics if no socket is found.
• Container Awareness: Enhanced namespace, AppArmor, and runtime detection, with rootless-friendly error handling and better test skipping.
• Build & CI: Updated Dockerfile for static builds and best practices; Makefile no longer runs golangci-lint by default (now handled by GitHub Actions).
• User Guidance: Improved output messages for missing sockets and possible misconfigurations.
