The .menu-translucent class does not apply to .submenu.

Submenus should maintain the same translucent style.

Reduced test cases

To further illustrate the issue, I created a dedicated demo and set the background to a bright red color to make the effect more obvious. With a white background, the difference is much harder to notice.

I think this might stay as-is—most modifiers need to be carried over across instances, but I could see going another way with this. Will leave open for a bit.
