DevWatch 1.1.0
DevWatch now keeps watching your projects reliably, even during large changes and next to servers you started yourself.
- Detects dev servers running outside DevWatch. If the project's script, or the tool it calls such as
viteornext dev, is already running in the project folder from a terminal or another tool, DevWatch does not start a second instance. It shows the PID instead of failing and pausing autostart. Such servers are never taken over or stopped. - Bulk changes no longer pause watching. A
composer updateor other mass write could overflow macOS file events, which paused the project until you enabled it again. Dropped events now count as a change of the affected folder; only a moved or unmounted project folder pauses watching. - Faster detection while files keep changing. Changes are reported within three seconds at the latest, even if a file is rewritten more than once per second.
Projects that an earlier version paused stay paused. Turn autostart back on for them once after updating.
Requirements: macOS 14 or later, Apple Silicon or Intel.
