Model Finder v0.1.0
Model Finder v0.1.0
A World of Warcraft-style ready check for the thing you're waiting on. Built while waiting for Astra access in Codex—then the queue actually popped.
Included
- Compact, persistent native macOS popup with large portraits, role medallions, smooth entrance, and clickable destination.
- Independently timed simulated party confirmations, including simultaneous responses.
- Configurable model, five-person party, local portraits or public X profile URLs, sounds, and theme.
- Foreground availability watcher with a ten-minute default and an explicit user-supplied checker.
- Portable 60 fps H.264/AAC video renderer with native and tweet presets.
- JSON schema, examples, tests, and macOS/Linux CI.
Quick start
Requires macOS 13+, Python 3.10+, Xcode Command Line Tools, FFmpeg, and ImageMagick. Node.js 18+ is needed only for video export.
git clone https://github.com/twentyOne2x/model-finder.git
cd model-finder
python3 scripts/install-wow-media.py --accept-third-party-terms
python3 model_finder.py demoRead the media notices before running media setup. The demo plays sound and opens the repository after confirmation; it does not check or grant model access. Party confirmations are simulated. Real meetings/presence integration is not included.
Original code and documentation are MIT-licensed. Portraits and other media retain their separate rights. The original WoW audio/cursors are fetched explicitly for local use, not bundled in the source archive or relicensed.
Verified
30 tests pass. A clean checkout downloaded and validated the optional media, compiled the popup, rendered all 22 states, and exported a fully decodable video. A live Enter flow completed all five confirmations and opened the configured repository. CI tests Python on Linux and compiles/renders the native popup on macOS.
