Astra support and fixes for the current Codex controls.

  • Select Astra with the Model dial and change effort with the Reasoning dial.
  • Use both dials without clicking into the composer first.
  • Toggle Fast with a draft present; the text stays untouched.
  • Omit the nonworking Max stop that Codex advertises in its cache but skips in its picker.
  • Preserve support for existing model families and five-segment Power controls, while reading variable segment counts.

Requires macOS 13+ and Stream Deck 7.1+. Tested with Codex 26.901.31953 and Stream Deck 7.5.0 on Stream Deck hardware. Older Codex builds retain compatible paths but were not retested for this release.

Validation: 539 automated tests passed under Node 24; full and production dependency audits found no vulnerabilities. Device testing confirmed model and effort selection without composer focus, permission cycling, Fast toggling, and push-to-talk.

Download com.todd.streamdeckcodex.streamDeckPlugin to install. Separate profiles for Stream Deck, Mini, Neo, XL, and Plus are included, along with SHA-256 checksums.
