This is a React Group Project aimed at revolutionizing the dating experience.

Description

In this current generation, dating has become a strenuous task. FindingMapenzi is an innovative app that simplifies the process by allowing users to send and fill out compatibility forms. Upon filling out the form, the app gauges compatibility and recommends a meal for the two individuals to try out and cook together.

Core Functions

1. User authentication system: Allowing users to sign up and log in.
2. Compatibility form: Allowing users to fill a dating form with questions about compatibility, interests, and preferences.
   • Includes a feature to reject users below 18 years old.
3. User profile: Providing a user profile where users can see their details.
4. Recipe discovery: Allowing users to see a list of displayed recipes and search for recipes.
5. Meal rating system: Allowing users to rate each meal on a scale of 1 to 5 stars.

How to Run

Requirements

• Node.js

• npm

Installation Process

1. Clone this repository using

     git clone git@github.com:two23three/findingMapenzi.git

   or by downloading a ZIP file of the code.

2. The repository, if downloaded as a .zip file will need to be extracted to your preferred location.

3. Navigate to the project folder on your bash terminal.

4. Install dependancies using

     npm install

5. Run the application using

       npm start
