Install
Drag my-sample-renamer-1.0.1.ablx into Live's Preferences → Extensions page and restart Live. Requires Ableton Live 12 Suite Beta 12.4.5 or later.

A personal workflow extension for batch-renaming audio clips in Ableton Live Arrangement View.
What it does

Renames clips within the selected Arrangement time range and track lane(s)

Applies this naming structure:
MM.DD {Sample Name} br0 {number} -
Numbers clips from left to right

Can be undone as one batch with Ableton Live's normal Undo command
Installation
- Download
my-sample-renamer-1.0.0.ablxbelow. - Open Ableton Live 12 Suite Beta.
- Go to Settings/Preferences → Extensions.
- Drag the
.ablxfile into the Extensions settings page. - Restart Live when prompted.
Notes
This extension was built around my own sample-naming workflow. Feel free to fork or modify it to match your own naming convention.
It renames Ableton Live clips only; it does not rename audio files on disk, render, export, crop, or consolidate audio.
