Randomize Clip Names v1.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@tylerwsupernor tylerwsupernor released this 23 Aug 01:22

Fixed

  • Only clips overlapping the selected time range are renamed now. In earlier versions, every clip on the selected tracks was renamed, even clips outside the highlighted range.

Changed

  • One track lookup through the shared Track base class replaces per-type guessing, and the command validates its input before use.
  • Internal cleanup: code split into modules.
  • Naming behavior is unchanged: same word banks, crypto-strong picks, no duplicates within a single rename pass.

Install

  1. Download randomize-clip-names-1.2.0.ablx below.
  2. Drag it into Live's Preferences → Extensions page.
  3. Restart Live.

Requires Ableton Live 12 Suite Beta 12.4.5 or later.
