PROJECTS STORE

  • A new You tab shows your publisher profile, everything you have submitted, what is still in review, what a reviewer said about it, and what is live. Until now the store could tell you nothing about your own submissions once you had sent them.
  • A decision that asks for changes shows the reviewer's note as the reason and offers to send a new version of that listing right there. Before, you had to go back to Publish and find the listing in a list again.
  • You can now edit your publisher profile: display name, handle, bio, location and link. These have been part of a publisher record since the store launched with nothing in the app able to reach them, so every publisher was named user- and eight characters of an id. A new publisher now takes its handle, name and avatar from the account you signed in with.
  • Your own published projects show their listing icons. The published list drew a title and a version and nothing else, which made it the one place in the app where a listing appeared without its icon. A project whose first version is still in review shows a glyph tile instead of a blank one.
  • Listings keep their real launcher icon. Most Android projects declare that icon as XML rather than an image file, and the icon pipeline only accepted an image, so most listings fell back to a drawn glyph.

NOTIFICATIONS

  • Review decisions now reach your device. Every notification addressed to a specific user that the store has ever queued was delivered to nobody: registering for push runs signed out, as it has to, so the device record never carried who you were. Signing in now binds the device to your account. Daily challenge pushes were unaffected and had been masking this.
  • Being verified tells you. A moderator grants it days later with the app closed, so it now sends a push when the tick is granted. Only the grant is announced, and losing it is deliberately silent.
  • If your device was unreachable when a decision or a verification landed, opening the app picks it up instead of dropping it. You see one notification either way, not the same sentence twice.
