๐ŸŽฎ PlayStation 1 Compatibility List

This page collects community-reported compatibility and performance results for PlayStation 1 games running on TreeFrogUI.

The goal is to document how individual games behave across different devices, emulator configurations, ROM formats, and TreeFrogUI versions.

Results are based on user and developer reports. Performance may vary depending on the handheld model, hardware revision, BIOS, emulator configuration, game region, ROM format, and TreeFrogUI version.

Even reports for games that work perfectly are useful, since they help build a more complete compatibility database.

โš ๏ธ Interpreting Compatibility Results

A compatibility report should not be treated as a guarantee that the same game will behave identically on every configuration.

Differences may be caused by:

  • handheld model;

  • hardware revision;

  • TreeFrogUI version;

  • emulator or core version;

  • emulator settings;

  • BIOS;

  • game region;

  • game revision;

  • ROM format;

  • dump quality.

For this reason, reports should include the testing environment whenever possible.

Multiple reports for the same game are welcome if they were produced using different devices, versions, regions, formats, or emulator configurations.

๐Ÿ”ฌ Purpose of This List

PlayStation 1 compatibility is one of the areas currently being investigated around TreeFrogUI.

Collecting structured test results can help identify:

  • games with known compatibility problems;

  • emulator-specific issues;

  • regressions between TreeFrogUI versions;

  • differences between handheld models;

  • games that benefit from alternative emulator settings;

  • BIOS-related behavior;

  • ROM-format-related issues;

  • possible compatibility improvements.

Over time, this database can serve both as a reference for users and as useful testing information for future development.

๐Ÿธ If you test a PlayStation 1 game, consider sharing your results and helping improve the compatibility database.
