💡 Details

This release makes Path Picker feel more native on macOS and better-behaved across all platforms by tightening the default starting location and polishing the footer key hints.

• Default root is now the vault folder (fresh installs only) — On a fresh install, the picker opens inside your vault instead of the OS home directory (~). On macOS this prevents spurious permission dialogs (Desktop, Documents, iCloud, etc.) from appearing the moment you first open the picker; on all platforms it is simply the more useful starting point. Any previously saved root preference is unchanged, and an empty/cleared setting still falls back to home as before. The root switcher (Ctrl/Cmd+O) remains available as always. (#41)
• Native macOS modifier glyphs in the footer — Footer hints now show ⌥ for Alt and ⌘ for Cmd on macOS, while other platforms continue to show Alt and Ctrl. This matches the existing Cmd/Ctrl treatment already in place for the change-root hint and makes the footer feel at home on a Mac. (#41)
