what does it take for ublock to block ads on facebook. it used to work fine

Prerequisites

• I verified that this is not a filter list issue. Report any issues with filter lists or broken website functionality in the uAssets issue tracker.

• I performed a cursory search of the issue tracker to avoid opening a duplicate issue.
• The issue is not present after disabling uBO in the browser.
• I checked the documentation to understand that the issue I am reporting is not normal behavior.

I tried to reproduce the issue when...

• uBO is the only extension.
• using a new, unmodified browser profile.

Description

Ublock used to work fine on facebook. now I get ads that you can see and turn off and I get ads that slam into reels or videos.

A specific URL where the issue occurs.

Steps to Reproduce

open facebook and scroll down the page, Sometimes you can see the ad and hit the x. Try some reels or videos. it does not do it all the time, When it does there will be 4 or5 in a row. You are more likely to get an ad if you open it up full screen.

Expected behavior

Sometimes things are fine, then for 10 or 15 min you get one or the the other or both kinds of ads.

Actual behavior

you can turn off one kind of ad, the other you have to close the video.

As stated in the thread for Facebook issues ( https://www.github.com/uBlockOrigin/uAssets/issues/3367 ) :

Facebook is watching uBO everyday, so don't expect the solutions would last long or be breakage-free.

The best solution is stop using this anti-user site.

So What is Ublock good for?

It is good for the millions of other sites on the internet.

If you aren't satisfied with uBO, then you can simply uninstall it and choose another product.
