The sidebar header names the panel you are in, the Mac window drops its duplicate app menu button, and search is faster on the desktop and finds the pages under an archived page or Space. The full list is on the changelog.

Opening the app for the first time. This build is not yet signed or notarized. On macOS, open it once, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway next to Ubimate. On Windows, if SmartScreen warns, click More info, then Run anyway. Details are on the download page.

Updating from v26.10.5. Download and install this version over the old one. Your content and settings are kept.

In a table, ⇧⌘Enter (Ctrl+Shift+Enter on Windows and Linux) inserts a row above the one you are in and puts the cursor in it; above the header row, the new row becomes the header. Search indexes your pages in the background, away from the app's interface, and saves its index less often while it works through a large Space.

A new account made on the web starts with the Welcome and Overview pages in its Home, as the desktop app does. The Archive panel has a search field of its own, and search keeps one index per Space, loading only the Spaces it shows: the first search after updating indexes your pages again. In the desktop and mobile apps, the passphrase dialog says your content stays on this device. A data table copied and pasted in Ubimate is a copy of the table again, and a block's handle shows its dots as two columns on every system. On Linux the window has the system's border and shadow, and rounded corners where the desktop supports them. Mermaid diagrams are drawn by Mermaid 11.14.0, which works on macOS 12.

Exported pages look as they do in the editor, light and dark: datatables with their totals, drawn formulas, columns, callouts, bookmarks, comments and dates as the editor shows them. Pastes from ChatGPT and Mistral keep their spaces and code blocks, and a heading copied from its text pastes as a heading. Your own templates follow Focus, and Markdown import reads a single line feed as its source does. On the desktop, opening a page no longer makes search index it again, and an installed app zooms and follows Light and Dark again.

Templates: a new Templates Space with eleven ready-made pages, from Meeting Notes to Budget and Reading List, plus your own, and a Template field in the New Page dialog. A Backlinks panel lists the pages that link to the open one, and finds unlinked mentions. Markdown import (an Obsidian vault or a zip of .md files) and Markdown export. Table settings can expand a column and size the others, and headings get more room above. Fixes for date pickers, the Calendar's excerpts, copied blocks in the panels, the page spinner and, on mobile, passphrase fields. The full list is on the changelog.

Opening the app for the first time. This build is not yet signed or notarized. On macOS, open it once, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway next to Ubimate. Details are on the download page.

Your account moves to the icon rail, above sync. The Pages tree, the editor's menu and comment replies work from the keyboard, and grey secondary text is easier to read. In dark mode the image and diagram editors are dark too. Large data tables scroll with the page. Fixes for pasting code into a code block, dragging blocks in columns, chart colors and diagrams saved in dark mode. The full list is on the changelog.

Opening the app for the first time. This build is not yet signed or notarized. On macOS, open it once, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway next to Ubimate. Details are on the download page.

Ubimate's apps are now numbered by year and month: this release, which follows v0.20.6, is 26.10.0. A new installation starts with a Home Space holding a Welcome page and an Overview. Signing in to a different account moves this device's pages aside instead of merging them into it. Images pasted from the web are kept, and the desktop app downloads them into the Space. On the Mac, the menu bar has the app's commands. The full list is on the changelog.

Opening the app for the first time. This build is not yet signed or notarized. On macOS, open it once, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway next to Ubimate. Details are on the download page.

A fix for pasting lists: an answer copied with Gemini's copy button, or any list whose items wrap their text in a paragraph, now keeps its nested bullets.

Opening the app for the first time. This build is not yet signed or notarized. On macOS, open it once, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway next to Ubimate. Details are on the download page.
