Bazzite not updating via steam gamemode on the Steam Deck OLED with the bazzite-deck-gnome image

Describe the bug

For the last 3 or so releases I have been required to go into desktop mode to update Bazzite. Seems updates are not applying in gamemode via steam updater.

This is happening on my steam deck with the bazzite-deck-gnome image

What did you expect to happen?

Updates to be applied while in gamemode, same as my HTPC which does not have this issue

HTPC is on regular bazzite-deck, with the KDE desktop environment, not sure if that matters

i reimaged and the issue fixed itself, i can reopen

hmm seems i can't reopen on github mobile, i am unable to as i'm away on holiday atm and i don't have any of my gaming or work devices

@Xarishark im back from holiday, i reopened the issue

@cchulo I have now moved to KDE for my HTPC and it has fixed my problems on both the there and my ally x. So im not in gnome anymore.
