Broadcom wireless drivers removed in Bazzite 43

Saw a recent post on the Bazzite Reddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/Bazzite/comments/1ojyyiu/need_help_getting_wifi_to_work_again_on_bazzite/. I had a look at the release notes in for Bazzite 43.20251028 https://github.com/ublue-os/bazzite/releases/tag/43.20251028 and I can see that package broadcom-wl was removed which I suspect is what's causing this user's wifi issues

It might be the firmware. Supposedly it was fixed

This just broke my son’s PC. It was working… and then it wasn’t. I eventually figured out the broadcom drivers were missing, which isn’t easily fixed because… immutability.

I have the exact same problem after the update to Bazzite 43. I tried to activate/deactivate the broadcom driver with "ujust configure-broadcom-wl", but it doesn't matter regarding the issue.

Well it loads fine. Perhaps theres a file we stopped packaging it and thats causing it

Find a way to go to the latest testing build. I added a few files from broadcom that were missing. They might help

Just tested out the current testing build - unfortunately, the issue persists. No wifi.
