Is there a way to automate bluefin installation for a computer lab with similar machines?

You can clone it with Clonezilla, for example.

Nice to know. Does the "will" mean it's not ready?

I'm not sure, the first release was yesterday. I think this will be the default installer soon, but it has not been announced yet.
