Lantern Sudoku 1.0.1: the first release

A calm sudoku for short sessions. No ads, no account, no game over, and it works fully offline.

  • Four honest levels. Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. Every puzzle has exactly one solution, never needs a guess, and is graded by the techniques it takes.
  • Hints that teach. First where to look, then the technique and why it works, and the digit only if you ask. If a digit on the board is wrong, the hint says so first.
  • Learn as you go. A few short tips in your first game, and a page for every technique.
  • A daily puzzle with a streak, the past week to catch up on, and a spoiler-free result you can share.
  • Easy on the eyes. Large digits, Light and Dark themes, two high-contrast themes, layouts that hold at 200% text, and full TalkBack support.
  • Private. The app asks for no permissions, not even internet access. Nothing leaves your phone except through Android's own backup.
