ulc CLI v1.17.0

at the tag for what landed in this release.

This release adds a workbook authoring path for the TM-30 hue-bin local fidelity values a record carries at colorimetry.tm_30.rf_h_per_bin, so the Full row that asks for them can be met from a workbook. The schema structure and taxonomy do not change; the array's description is corrected to name the one value its entries carry. No required set, conformance grade, achievement state, or generated index member changes. The builder remains 0.10.0, and all eight published examples remain byte-identical.

For consumers

Newly converted records declare 1.17.0. A workbook without a tm_30_hue_bins sheet converts to the same record as 1.16.0 except ulc_version. Stored records need no re-stamp. Use a converter at release 1.17.0 or newer for the sheet; an older converter ignores the whole sheet without a message.

Validator and workbook

  • The tm_30_hue_bins sheet carries sixteen TM-30 local color fidelity values (Rf,h), one row per bin 1 to 16. Each bin appears exactly once, in any row order, and the records row carries tm_30_rf. Converted entries are ordered by bin.
  • Missing, repeated or out-of-range bins, blank or non-numeric values, and bins without the headline are refused with errors naming the sheet, row and record. An incomplete set names the record and the missing bins.
  • The six rf_h__* companions and conflict_notes apply per row. Values default to measured, from a test report, transcribed, and linked to the record's single LM-79 attestation, as for tm_30_rf; a tm_30* attestation cannot anchor them.
  • CSV and XLSX conversion produce the same sixteen entries and provenance. The workbook template includes the new sheet and its companion headers.

Documentation

  • The schema description names TM-30 local color fidelity Rf,h, the value the entries carry.
  • The workbook README, sheet design, authoring patterns, converter help and code comments name the sheet, its rules and its Full requirement for white-light records. The converter sheet lists also name spectral_power_distribution and additional_rated_claims.
