Changed

• Birthdays: the page is now a single list sorted by proximity (the nearest birthday first) with live search, replacing the separate "upcoming" panel and the search-suggestions dropdown that only filtered the list.
• Birthdays: the day itself is now celebrated — the person whose birthday is today gets a highlighted card with a cake icon and a filled accent chip, and every row shows a consistent countdown (Today / Tomorrow / in N days) alongside a "date · turns N" line.
• Birthdays: the page now uses the shared canonical page header (title + search) for a look consistent with the other modules, and the empty state welcomes new users with an icon and an "Add birthday" button.
• Birthdays: a new birthday now defaults its reminder to "1 day before" instead of at the moment of the birthday, and the reminder menu is trimmed to the common offsets.

Fixed

• Birthdays: avatar initials and countdown chips now meet WCAG AA contrast in both light and dark themes, fixing a bug where the fallback avatar became illegible in dark mode.
• Birthdays: the birth-date picker no longer allows selecting a future date, and the edit/delete and photo controls now meet the minimum touch-target size.
