Calendar feed times now carry their time zone. Events you create in Yuvomi are stored as plain
wall-clock time, and the subscription feed exported them as RFC 5545 floating time - valid, and
meant to be read on the viewer's own clock. In practice Google Calendar, Apple Calendar,
Thunderbird, Outlook and Home Assistant all resolve such values to UTC, so a 16:00 appointment in
a household running TZ=Europe/Madrid showed up at 18:00 for everyone subscribed to the feed. The
digits are unchanged; they are now anchored: DTSTART;TZID=Europe/Madrid:... with a matching VTIMEZONE component and an X-WR-TIMEZONE calendar header. Events synced in from Google or
CalDAV already carried an unambiguous offset and keep it, all-day events are unaffected, and a
household whose zone is UTC gets a plain Z instead of a timezone component many clients do not
carry. Re-subscribing is not necessary - the next feed refresh corrects the times.
A failed Google or Apple calendar sync is visible instead of silent. Both providers recorded
sync failures in the server log only, so an expired token or a revoked app password looked from
the outside like a calendar that quietly stopped updating - one household noticed after roughly
two weeks, and only from the duplicates that reconnecting left behind. The last error now appears
in Settings -> Sync -> Calendar, right below the connection status it explains, and disappears by
itself as soon as a run succeeds.
Added
Appointments brought in by a sync can be cleared out. Disconnecting a Google or Apple account
removed the credentials but left every appointment it had already imported behind: no sync touches
them again, and reconnecting imported them a second time as visible duplicates - most obvious on
recurring events. Removing them meant deleting one appointment at a time. Disconnecting now offers
to take them along and says how many there are, and for anyone already disconnected, Settings ->
Sync -> Calendar offers to clear them afterwards. Your own appointments stay, including ones
waiting to be uploaded, and nothing changes at Google or iCloud - only Yuvomi's copy is removed,
and reconnecting fetches everything again.
