🌟 Summary

v0.1.83 makes Ultralytics cloud workflows more convenient and resilient, especially for image and video prediction, while updating the Platform API and Python SDK.

📊 Key Changes

  • 🔗 Predict from URLs: ul cloud predict now accepts image or video URLs with a recognizable file extension. The CLI downloads the file to the working directory, then processes it like a local source.
  • 🖨️ YOLO-style prediction output: Prediction results now print per-image lines instead of raw JSON. Saved runs still include results.json.
  • ⏯️ Resume interrupted exports: ul cloud export can reconnect to an existing export using its export_id and download the result. Pressing Ctrl-C shows a command to resume later; exports keep running remotely.
  • 🖥️ Show export GPU: The export status line now displays the GPU when one is reported by the Platform.
  • 🔎 Improve Explore search sorting: Relevance sorting is now available and is the default for searches, helping rank dataset matches by relevance. Other searches continue to list newest results first.
  • 📦 Refresh the API and SDK: The Platform API contract and Python SDK are now version 0.1.83. The image-prediction model list also replaces claude-haiku-4-5-20251001 with claude-haiku-5-5.

🎯 Purpose & Impact

  • Cloud prediction better matches the familiar yolo predict workflow, so users can work directly from supported URLs without manually downloading files first.
  • YOLO-style output makes prediction results easier to read in the terminal, while JSON remains available in saved run artifacts.
  • Resumable exports reduce the risk of losing access to completed work if waiting is interrupted, and make it easier to retrieve the artifact later.
  • Relevance-based search can make finding matching datasets quicker, while the updated SDK keeps its documented API options aligned with the Platform.
