Release list
v0.4.9
v0.4.8
New UPTIME sensor from web-ui utc_last_reboot. Entity example: sensor.iron_dome_uptime. Reload the integration after upgrading.
v0.4.7
Changes
- SPU SESSIONS and NTURBO SESSIONS now report FortiOS session counts (no % unit). Values above 100% were caused by treating
pu_session\ /
turbo_session\ \current\ as percentages. - Brand icons resized to Home Assistant spec (256/512 square, @2x\ variants).
- Example Lovelace dashboard: \xamples/ui_lovelace_fortigate.yaml\ (entity IDs for SPU/nTurbo/sessions updated).
After upgrading, reload the FortiGate integration (or restart Home Assistant) so entity units refresh.
v0.4.5
Add custom_components/fortigate/brand/ per HACS + HA brand image rules (icon.png, dark_icon.png, logo.png). README: remove Security and Versioning sections; document brand path. manifest 0.4.5.
v0.4.4
Branding: Fortinet logomark as repo logo.png and integration icon.png (Home Assistant integration card). README: step-by-step FortiGate REST API admin setup and HACS/Home Assistant install. manifest 0.4.4.
v0.4.3
WANx STATUS binary uses monitor link when present (legacy fortigate_template parity), else status/up parsing. manifest 0.4.3.
v0.4.2
0.4.2
- WANx STATUS binary: reads boolean up and interface-up / ipv4-up / ipv6-up when string status is missing.
- WANx INTERFACE switch: same parser with assume_up_if_absent when API omits fields.
- WANx SDWAN STATUS: prefer wan2_wan2-style slugs; flatten nested status; safe string attributes.
manifest.json: 0.4.2.
v0.4.1
0.4.1
Remove per-interface download/upload byte sensors (0.4.0). Mbps and other entities unchanged.
manifest.json version: 0.4.1.
v0.4.0
0.4.0 — Entity naming
Per tracked interface, friendly names follow this pattern (all uppercase), for example WAN1:
- WAN1 LINK — physical link (binary)
- WAN1 STATUS — monitor administrative up/down (binary, read-only)
- WAN1 INTERFACE — CMDB administrative switch (when enabled in options)
- WAN1 DOWNLOAD BYTES / WAN1 UPLOAD BYTES —
rx_bytes/tx_bytescounters - WAN1 DOWNLOAD MBPS / WAN1 UPLOAD MBPS — throughput from byte deltas
- WAN1 LATENCY, WAN1 JITTER, WAN1 PACKET LOSS, WAN1 SLA (when fields exist) — SD-WAN health matched to that interface
- WAN1 SDWAN STATUS — primary state string plus scalar detail attributes
SD-WAN leaves are associated to an interface when the health-check slug contains that interface token (e.g. wan1_wan1 maps to WAN1).
manifest.json version: 0.4.0.
Registry: SD-WAN sensor unique_id values changed from global member slugs to per-interface ids; remove stale entities after upgrade if duplicates appear.
v0.3.2
0.3.2
- SPU SESSIONS (FortiOS
npu_session): Renamed from NPU;native_unit_of_measurementis%(resource offload usage, not a raw session count). - NTURBO SESSIONS: Reported as
%with two decimal places. - Entity registry: SPU sensor
unique_idsuffix is now_spu_sessions(replacing_npu_sessions). Remove the old NPU SESSIONS entity in Home Assistant if it remains after upgrade.
manifest.json version: 0.3.2.
