Account Deletion
PrayCalc lets you delete your account and all associated data at any time, from within the app. This page explains what gets deleted, how to do it, and what to do first if you have an active subscription.
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your profile and display name
- Saved locations and city favorites
- Notification preferences and alert settings
- Prayer tracking history
- Smart home device connections and automations
- TV pairing data
- Any Ummat+ subscription entitlement (account-side — see subscription note below)
Deletion is permanent. It cannot be undone.
Active subscriptions: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription through the App Store or Google Play. To avoid future charges, cancel your subscription first:
- iOS: Settings app > [your name] > Subscriptions > PrayCalc > Cancel
- Android: Google Play app > Profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > PrayCalc > Cancel
After cancelling, you keep access until the end of the current billing period. You can then delete your account.
- Open PrayCalc on iOS or Android
- Go to Settings
- Tap Account
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm when prompted
Deletion takes effect immediately. A confirmation email is sent to your registered address.
Account deletion from the web is available at praycalc.com/account/delete. Sign in first, then follow the on-screen steps.
You can download a copy of your data before deleting. In Settings > Account, tap Download My Data. A JSON file with your locations, preferences, and prayer history is prepared and sent to your email within 24 hours.
If you have trouble deleting your account, email support@praycalc.com with your registered email address and we will process the deletion manually within 48 hours.
