Note

jizai requires a C++ compiler that supports C++20 and OpenMP 5.0. Clang 17 or later is recommended on all platforms. Clang 15 and 16 are known to crash while building jizai.

Windows 11

  • Code tools

    • Git for Windows

  • Compilers, build tools, and runtimes

    • C++ Clang Compiler for Windows (<version>)

macOS 27 Golden Gate

• Build tools

  brew install cmake llvm ninja

Ubuntu 26.04 LTS

• Build tools

  sudo apt install clang cmake curl git libc++-dev libomp-dev ninja-build pkgconf unzip zip

  For the Python bindings, you also need these:

  sudo apt install python3-dev python3-venv
