Introducing FluentFlyout v2.13: jump straight to your active media player from the Media Flyout, improved UI throughout the app, better Firefox browser app name detection, better settings saving reliability, and other improvements! 🎉 Thanks to everyone for the continued support and feedback! <3
📝 Changelog
🎵 Clickable Media Player Header
You can now click directly on the media player name in the Media Flyout to bring your active media player application straight to the foreground! We've updated the media player name section into a clickable button so switching to your playing media app (like Spotify, Chrome, or other players) is seamless. On Chrome and Edge, you also automatically navigate to the exact browser tab playing media!
To try this out, turn on "Show Media Player name" in Media Flyout settings. by @TeKa0 in #965
🎨 UI Improvements & Polish
We've polished the interface throughout the settings and flyouts!
Firstly, the search box experience has been improved: We've updated the user experience regarding focusing and un-focusing from the search box resulting in a much better search experience, and polished the UI to match Windows 11 more closely.

We’ve also added smooth scrolling to the app, so when you navigate through the settings or the volume mixer UI, you’ll experience a sleek, modern scroll instead of abrupt jumps.
Sliders throughout the app have received updates as well: The hover, drag and click animations have been improved, visual inconsistencies (like the small gap at 0% and 100%) have been fixed, and clicking on a slider now brings the thumb to the pointer, allowing for continuous dragging. For the volume slider for example, this would previously have increased/decreased the volume by only 1.
The toggle switches and expandable cards throughout the settings window have also received hover and click animation improvements. by @unchihugo in #969
🌐 Firefox-based Browser App Recognition
Fixed app name detection for Firefox and Firefox-based browsers! Playing media from Firefox-based browsers will now properly resolve and display the correct browser or application name in the flyout instead of a string of random numbers and letters. by @zen1337th in #951
