v1.1-stable
TuringOS is a Debian 13 live system that gives AI coding agents (Claude Code, OpenCode) a safe place to work. Agents run in a sandbox copy of your project, and you review their changes before merging them back.
This is the first stable build. It boots straight into the desktop in VMware (BIOS and UEFI) with no login screen.
What's in it:
- A new desktop built on Tauri, with a composer that starts agents on a project you pick with
@ - Voice typing with local Whisper, which also works offline
- Btrfs sandboxes with a review-then-merge flow
- Bazaar: one-command MCP tool installs that show up in Claude Code
- Model providers: Claude, NVIDIA NIM, Ollama, OpenRouter, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint
- Claude Code and OpenCode preinstalled
Known issues: the image has no web browser yet, so links and Google sign-in can't open. The ISO download will be linked separately.
