Swift Chat 1.0.10 adds replies, the way Messages does them.
New
Message.messageReply(to:quote:)marks a message as a reply. The transcript draws the message it answers as a small outlined quote above it, joined by a line, and counts the replies under the original (“1 Reply”, “3 Replies”).quoteis what to show when the original is not among the loaded messages.onChatReply { parentID, text, media in }turns on the rest. Swiping a message to the right opens its thread: the original and its replies over the blurred transcript, the field reading “Reply” and the keyboard up. Tapping “1 Reply” opens the same view without the keyboard; the close button in the header or a tap on the blur goes back. A send while a thread is open comes to this handler instead ofonChatSend, with the id of the message that started the thread, so a reply to a reply joins the same thread, and the draft you had in the conversation comes back when the thread closes. Opt-in: a chat without the handler has no swipe and no thread, and draws nothing differently unless its messages usemessageReply.
Everything in 1.0.9 is unchanged.
