Nous v1.0.0

First release of Nous — a personal fork of microreader, built for the Xteink X4 e-ink device.

New features over microreader 2.0-dev:

  • Convert All — batch-convert every un-converted EPUB from Settings, with per-book progress
  • Converted Indicator — optional * prefix on converted book titles in the book list
  • Reading Stats — per-book open count and total reading time, viewable from Reader Options
  • Battery Display — three modes: icon only, number only, or both
  • List Alignment — choose center, left, or right alignment for all list screens
  • Hide Nav Arrows — toggle the navigation hint arrows on/off

Installation

Flash nous.bin using the Crosspoint flash tool (browser-based) or esptool. Requires an unlocked Xteink X4.
