Perch

Perch is a free, open-source macOS notch assistant for developers. It keeps AI tools, coding-agent activity, scheduled work, and useful Mac controls one hover away.

Features

• Chat with Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter, DeepSeek, or a custom OpenAI-compatible provider.
• Run approval-gated local tools and connect Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, and GitHub.
• Create scheduled AI tasks with native notifications.
• Keep conversations, settings, and schedules local on your Mac.
• Store user-owned provider and integration keys in macOS Keychain.
• Pin calendar, music, CPU, memory, disk, network, uptime, and process widgets.
• Open the quick prompt globally with Command-Shift-Space.

Perch has no account, subscription, trial, checkout, or feature gating.

Install

Perch requires an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 26 or newer.
