NQ 0.2.0 is a component package: NQ alone for Debian 12 (Bookworm) amd64. It is not an installable Constellation suite. It contains no Monitor, Pulse, Nightshift, Docket or AG component and qualifies no composed profile. Constellation integration releases are separate (see PUBLIC_RELEASE.md).

Install and operate it as described in OPERATIONS.md. Installation does not initialize, enable or start NQ.

Identity

  • Source commit: dbe29d81ba84061b08fec285f1218ec2145c65bc (tag v0.2.0)
  • nq-ng_0.2.0_amd64.deb sha256 9e953e88d1f79cffd03e97b530199459b5e45ead55ea4ba7d5066e0851008d7b
  • nq-ng-0.2.0-linux-amd64.tar.gz sha256 71ff405bccb64fb7ebe90ae7f39ffe98787c2bffa2fb79c08070c659984d60b7
  • nq --version prints nq 0.2.0 (dbe29d81ba84061b08fec285f1218ec2145c65bc)

Qualification

  • Reproducibility: two isolated offline builds on a pinned Debian Bookworm Rust image produced byte-equal binaries and artifacts (bookworm-build-receipt.v1.json).
  • Clean-VM gate: installed and exercised in a clean Debian 12 VM with no source tree: 49 PASS, 0 FAIL, 2 not exercised (ACCEPTANCE-RESULT.json). Not exercised: the memory psi=1 reboot branch (PSI already present) and NQ-level staleness (no operator trigger exists).

Changes since 0.1.0

  • nqd runs nq daemon, so the service evaluates watchers admitted with the nq CLI (#11).
  • /run/nq survives an nqd stop. nq-host-resource-helper and nq-synthetic-cache-result-helper are packaged, and assembly checks them against the profile catalog (#10).
  • nq admin upgrade chains schema 5 → 12 → 13 and reports correctly (#12 part A).
  • Build info v2 records the source commit in every binary.

Known limitations

  • Store continuity across NQ builds is not qualified. Do not carry a store from another build (including 0.1.0) forward in place: back up and export under the old build, quarantine the old database and /var/lib/nq/admissions, then nq init and re-admit (procedure). A migrated store with history can refuse to reopen (#12 part B, open).
  • nq.http_endpoint/v1, nq.systemd_unit/v1, nq.synthetic_cache_executor_result/v1 and nq.conformance/v1 are packaged but were not run as watchers in the VM gate. Memory present was not induced.
  • Only Debian 12 amd64 is built and qualified.
