• Changed: UOTinker now runs on .NET 10 (LTS). The installer still contains everything it needs; no separate runtime install.

UOTinker 0.2.0

• New: edit and save hues.mul (colors, table range, name), radarcol.mul, skills (name, button, valid) and cliloc files. Every save makes a backup in %APPDATA%\UOTinker\backups and respects the read-only switch. BWT-compressed cliloc files are read-only.
• New: the problem list on the Tiledata page is recomputed after edits.
• New: the interface and help are available in English and German. Choose the language in the settings menu (gear icon); it applies after a restart. Default follows the Windows language.
• Changed: the self-test checks all writers on temporary copies and reports missing translations.

UOTinker 0.1.1

• New: update check. On start UOTinker asks GitHub for the latest release. If there is a newer one, the overview shows Jetzt aktualisieren: the installer is downloaded, its SHA-256 checksum is compared with the one GitHub publishes, and only then it is started. Can be switched off or run by hand in the settings menu (gear icon).
• New: window icon in the title bar and taskbar.
• Fixed: the editors on the Items, Tiledata, Land and Gump pages scroll when the window is small, so the buttons and flags stay reachable.
• Changed: no fixed data folder, the program asks for it on the first start; a read-only switch replaces the old folder-name rule.

Version 0.1.0 does not contain the update check; install this version once by hand (run the installer over the old one, close UOTinker first). Later versions update from inside the program.

UOTinker 0.1.0

First public release of UOTinker, a viewer and editor for the data files of an Ultima Online client.

• Browse items, land tiles, gumps, radar colors, hues, animations (MUL and UOP), tiledata, skills and cliloc, including empty slots up to the highest ID
• Find gaps in the tiledata (art without tiledata, tiledata without art, wearables without animation ID or layer, missing paperdoll gump); the checks can be switched on and off
• Edit tiledata, item art, land tiles and gumps; every write makes a backup first, a read-only switch turns writing off
• Create new items (tiledata and art in one step), copy values, import and export images, export the current list as CSV
• Optional: Sphere script folder for an ITEMDEF list and jumps between item and definition
• Interface and built-in help are in German; the installer is available in English and German

Install: run UOTinker_Setup_0.1.0.exe (per user, no administrator rights, no .NET installation needed). On first start the program asks for the folder with your client files. Work on a copy of your client folder first.
