Agent Native 0.1.1

Local Codex programmatic sessions using existing managed ChatGPT sign-in, explicit model selection, same-thread resume, targeted interrupt and owned process cleanup. Includes isolated neutral contracts and a loopback MCP bridge that preserves application authorization. Node.js 22+; no optional provider SDK required for the harness exports.

Installation

@uppercut-labs/agent-native@0.1.1 is published and npm latest resolves to 0.1.1. Install with npm install --save-exact @uppercut-labs/agent-native@0.1.1. Initial unauthenticated publication failed; subsequent authenticated publication and fresh registry acceptance succeeded.

The GitHub archive remains a fallback. Download both assets, run shasum -a 256 -c uppercut-labs-agent-native-0.1.1.tgz.sha256 (Linux: sha256sum -c), then install the verified archive into the intended project with npm install ./uppercut-labs-agent-native-0.1.1.tgz.

Validation and limits

Full checks passed: 130 package tests, all twelve independently installed examples, types/browser boundaries, docs and optional-peer-free packed consumers. Node 22/24 CI passed on the exact candidate. Independent focused synthetic verification passed all 15 harness/bridge tests. Source and predecessor fresh-tarball Luna two-turn file verification, same-thread cross-process resume and cleanup passed; release workflow acceptance is recorded in the reusable skill release.

Codex local is supported by this preview. Cursor, cloud and programmatic Codex MCP configuration remain deferred. Existing Codex configuration still applies. The bridge does not grant capability permissions or open a public tunnel. No provider secrets, account identities or raw transcripts are included.

Released-archive acceptance

Verified 2026-10-05T04:57:41Z using the public GitHub downloads and matching SHA-256 sidecars. Fresh bundled skill installation preserved project dependency metadata and added no project runtime packages; Codex app-server discovered the enabled repo skill without discovery errors. After separately installing the released adapter, the installed reusable proof passed both exact file checks, same-session resume through a fresh process and owned cleanup with Node 24.19.0, Codex CLI 0.145.0, gpt-5.6-luna / low and managed ChatGPT sign-in. No raw provider or account output is included. This is local-route evidence only.

Registry acceptance - 2026-10-05

Both registry downloads match the released archives byte-for-byte and by SHA-256/SHA-512 integrity; npm latest is 0.1.1 for both packages. A fresh npm cache/consumer installed the skill through the public registry without changing dependency metadata or creating project runtime packages, and actual Codex discovery passed. Separate npm adapter installation, optional-peer-free root/browser/Codex imports and missing-runtime guidance passed without further inference.
