Sidebar Tree Auto-Scroll & Reveal for Active Request Tab #5159

Description

@Dlyx24

I have checked the following:

  • I've searched existing issues and found nothing related to my issue.

This feature

  • blocks me from using Bruno
  • would improve my quality of life in Bruno
  • is something I've never seen an API client do before

Describe the feature you want to add, and how it would change your usage of Bruno

When switching between multiple open request tabs in Bruno, the sidebar tree panel does highlight the active request but does not scroll to it. This makes it difficult to quickly locate where the active request is stored within the collection or folder structure, especially if the request is nested deep inside folders.

Furthermore, if the collection tree is collapsed or closed and you activate a tab, the sidebar does not open or reveal the location of that request. This is very confusing leading me to manually search or expand folders on the sidebar to find the active request.

The ideal behavior would be for the sidebar to automatically open the relevant folders and scroll to highlight the active request whenever a tab is switched.

This type of behavior can be observe in tools such as Postman or VSCode.
