EZ Platform v0.1.1-rc2 - Frontend Connectivity Fixes

What's Fixed ✅

Frontend API Connectivity

  • Removed hardcoded localhost URLs - now uses nginx proxy
  • Production-ready deployment (works without port-forward)
  • 15+ TypeScript files updated to relative URLs

Docusaurus Portal

  • Root page redirect to /docs/
  • Fixed blank page issue

Installation 📦

Incremental Package (132MB) - For RC1 users:

tar -xzf ezplatform-v0.1.1-rc2-incremental.tar.gz
minikube image load release-package/images/frontend-v0.1.1-rc2.tar
minikube image load release-package/images/docs-docusaurus-v0.1.1-rc2.tar
kubectl apply -f release-package/k8s/deployments/frontend-deployment.yaml
kubectl rollout restart deployment/frontend -n ez-platform

Testing ✅

  • Playwright verified: 20 datasources loaded
  • No localhost connection errors
  • All nginx proxy routes working
