The first public release of Shape.

Shape is a design-focused code editor built for modern web development, combining code, AI, and visual tooling in a single workspace.

This release includes the core editor experience, integrated Git, terminal support, AI features, Markdown preview, and design-focused tools for Tailwind and CSS.

Shape is still in early beta. There is a lot more planned, and this release is the beginning of the public development process.

Trying it out

If you want to try Shape, download the latest release.

Shape currently supports Windows 10/11 (64-bit). macOS and Linux support are planned.

Feedback, bug reports, and contributions are welcome.
