@Domogo Domogo released this 09 Sep 08:42

VORO’s first early-access release: a local workspace for browsing 3D game assets, inspecting GLB/glTF previews, and saving review notes beside the files.

Downloads

Choose the ZIP for your operating system and processor. Extract the complete archive before launching. These are portable ZIP archives, not installers; there is no auto-updater. See installation and checksum instructions.

Archive suffix Platform Validation
mac-arm64.zip Apple silicon, macOS 13+ Developer ID signed and Apple notarized; all four packaged-app workflow tests passed on the final archive.
mac-x64.zip Intel Mac, macOS 13+ Developer ID signed and Apple notarized; cross-built, native Intel runtime testing pending.
windows-x64.zip Windows 10+, x64 Unsigned experimental cross-build. ZIP, architecture, bundled app, licenses, and checksums verified; native runtime testing pending.
linux-x64.zip Current x64 desktop Linux Unsigned experimental cross-build. ZIP, architecture/executable mode, bundled app, licenses, and checksums verified; native runtime testing pending.

The Mac publisher is Tapija d.o.o., VORO’s Apple Developer team. Both Mac bundles include stapled notarization tickets. Windows has no Authenticode signature and may show an unknown-publisher/SmartScreen warning. Linux requires compatible desktop libraries, graphics support, and a working Chromium sandbox. Intel, Windows, and Linux remain experimental until native runtime testing is completed. An earlier Linux candidate exited with code 137 under local x64 container emulation; that did not establish runtime compatibility.

Included

  • Folder browsing, search, status/format/comment/preview filters, and collapsible folders.
  • Full interactive GLB/glTF inspection with offline Draco, Meshopt, and KTX2 decoders.
  • Explicit review saves, device-local drafts, conflict detection, and portable JSON exports.
  • VORO’s artbook identity, local fonts, and branded app icon.

FBX, OBJ, BLEND, and USD variants can be cataloged and reviewed but do not have interactive previews. There is no account, cloud storage, or issue-tracker integration. The separate VORO Polish skill can turn saved reviews into a source-linked polishing plan in your agent.

Verification

All archives use the exact release source commit 8717312549d227db815aa7336b6f26e27a38120c. Mac provenance/checksums remain in build-manifest.json and SHA256SUMS.txt; the added platforms use build-manifest-windows-linux.json and SHA256SUMS-windows-linux.txt. Existing Mac assets are unchanged. Compare your archive against the matching checksum file.

Both Mac ZIPs passed integrity/checksum, strict signature, stapled-ticket, and Gatekeeper checks. Apple returned Accepted with no issues for both submissions. The Windows/Linux ZIPs passed archive, x64 executable, bundled application/notices, and checksum checks; they are unsigned and have not passed native runtime tests. These builds were produced locally without GitHub Actions. MIT, Electron, and third-party notices are bundled.

Early access: use copies of important projects and keep review sidecars backed up. Windows publisher signing still requires a separate certificate/service; these unsigned artifacts are published with that limitation explicit. Windows and Linux ARM64 are not included.
