- Return to the screenshot overlay after editing Use the upper-right action to return from the main window with your edited translation, language choices, and overlay position intact. No new OCR or translation is needed, and repeated round trips preserve the content from before the screenshot.
- Better-aligned main window Restore previous and Back to floating window now share matching buttons at the upper right. Language selectors align with the pane content, and copy buttons have clear borders.
- Refined screenshot toolbar Updated icons and language arrows, balanced hover insets and button spacing, and removed vertical separators. More uses a compact icon list while keeping the existing colors and corner shapes.
- Consistent scrolling Screenshot editing uses the shared overlay scrollbar style at its existing width. The full-translation popover has better-positioned close and scroll controls without changing its text layout.

- Compact screenshot toolbar The service has its own group, while source and target languages share a border. Single-row icon buttons include tooltips, with inset hover backgrounds for language choices.
- Quicker screenshot actions Retranslate, compare the original, read the full translation, copy, and save from the toolbar. More offers additional copy options and editing in the main window. Confirm or cancel after selecting a new region.
- Edit and restore individual regions Click text regions in the image to locate their translations. Retranslate one region or restore its generated translation while keeping edits to other regions.
- The familiar main window Keep the existing header, icons, and automatic-translation effects, with consistent editor spacing and side-by-side or stacked layouts. Dismissing a menu or cancelling Save keeps the screenshot open.

Translate automatically or manually, switch languages, compare the original, read the full text, copy text or images, and save original or translated images. Open the result in the main window to continue editing.
- Clearer permission guidance Accessibility and Screen Recording prompts use a system title bar and standard window buttons, with concise explanations of their purpose, data handling, and the settings action.
- Readable usage records Full calendar dates and times appear on separate lines. Costs use two decimal places; nonzero amounts below one cent show <$0.01, with precise values still available.
- Update dialog fixes Release-note dialogs have a maximum height and more vertical spacing. Fixed uncovered edges in the Settings backdrop.
Before updating
TSX restarts during an update. Copy text or save screenshots you want to keep first. Intricate photo textures, overlapping regions, or long translations may not fit directly over the image; those regions retain the original pixels and offer the full translation.

- One-click updates from About Clicking Update to v… starts downloading and continues through installation and restart, with progress kept in Settings and no repeated confirmation in the main window. Check for Updates still only checks, without changing automatic-update preferences.
- More room for release notes The New Version Available dialog adapts to the main window between defined minimum and maximum sizes. The default main window shows the larger dialog for easier reading.
- Interface fixes Local-service text-recipient hints use a readable name, their icons align with the text, and the New Version Available button shows a pointing-hand cursor on hover.

Requires macOS 15 or later. The universal installer contains Apple silicon and Intel binaries. Download TSX-1.2.1-macOS-universal.dmg, or use the in-app update check. The app was notarized through Xcode Organizer; the DMG was separately signed, notarized, and stapled. See SHA256SUMS.txt and the installation guide. Source code is MIT licensed.
Copy text you want to keep before updating; translation text and screenshots are not saved as history. All 879 automated tests, 21 isolated native-window checks, and signature/notarization checks passed. Real cross-version installation, Intel hardware, and macOS 15 hardware were not tested.
