Release 1.3.2
Gave BLESerial-owned diagnostics a dedicated configurable Print output that defaults to Serial, accepts UART and application-provided outputs, and rejects the BLESerial transport itself.
Application logging continues to follow global logSetOutput(), and printStats(stream) remains explicitly routed by the caller. Internal diagnostics now use destination-aware dispatch, with a selflog text-stress command for regression coverage.
Requires UUtzinger_logger 2.2.1 or newer.
Release 1.3.1
Highlights
- Reliable bounded Arduino Print writes with explicit non-blocking APIs for high-rate streaming.
- Stabilized RSSI/PHY and congestion adaptation with exact-LKG fallback and bounded recovery.
- Corrected PHY/DLE pacing diagnostics and added deterministic BLE text-stress validation.
Validation
- Warning-enabled Nano NORA builds: minimal, demo, comprehensive, latency, text-stress, and DEBUG comprehensive.
- Feather ESP32-S3 with 2 MB PSRAM: 2M PHY, MTU 517, 7.5 ms connection interval, 13.8 MB transmitted with zero TX drops or timeouts, and a sustained 1,751 fixed 36-byte lines/s enqueue rate.
BLESerial 1.3.0
Highlights
- Corrected the MTU API:
setPreferredMTU()andgetPreferredMTU()distinguish the local preference from the negotiated connection MTU;requestMTU()remains as a deprecated compatibility alias. - Hardened RX/TX lifecycle handling, task-mode pacing and polling fallback, callback ownership, logger-level preservation, and failed-initialization cleanup.
- Added warning-enabled offline build validation for all examples.
