ChartworkAI 0.2.0 makes the framework project-agnostic by default and adds bounded, project-owned profile contracts.

Added

  • chartworkai init --profile-file FILE accepts validated custom roles, required artifacts, directories, and non-executed validation commands.
  • Custom profiles can extend the generic core or any existing preset.

Changed

  • New projects now default to the domain-neutral generic core.
  • framework.json is authoritative for profile, artifact, and scaffold-layout behavior.
  • The init JSON summary now reports profile kind, inheritance, and validation commands.

All six existing --profile values remain supported, projects without a Profile line retain legacy data-science checks, and MCP tool names are unchanged. The independently versioned framework contract remains 1.2.0.
