[1.53.0] - 2026-07-28

Added

  • SCITT transparency-log witness anchor (vaara.audit.scitt_anchor): append a receipt's signed-payload digest to a Merkle transparency log and record the inclusion proof as a scitt method entry in timestampAnchors. Verifiable by recomputation — no key, no operator, no third party. CLI: vaara receipt anchor-scitt. Replaces the opentimestamps method removed in this release.
  • Self-contained interactive HTML map of the eIDAS QTSP surveillance architecture at .workspace/.shared/eidas/eidas-surveillance-map.html.
  • Persistent trail by default: @vaara.govern with zero config auto-creates ~/.vaara/trail/audit.db using SQLite. All actions survive process restarts — no more in-memory-only trail.
  • Prior approval auto-allow: when an escalated action is approved by the operator, the pipeline remembers. The same action shape from the same agent is auto-allowed next time, skipping the escalation. Persists across restarts via the SQLite trail.
  • OpenCode support in vaara init: OpenCode added to the known MCP clients list. vaara init now detects and governs OpenCode automatically.

Removed

  • OpenTimestamps (OTS) witness anchor method. The opentimestamps method, ots_anchor.py, test_ots_anchor.py, and the [ots] extras are removed. Superseded by the scitt method.
  • Default TSA/QTSP URLs removed from all anchor commands. Users must provide an explicit TSA URL; no provider is baked in. Added privacy-policy disclaimer on anchor subcommands.
  • In-memory-only default trail. Pipelines now default to persistent SQLite.

Changed

  • SPEC.md Section 4: opentimestamps method removed, scitt method registered. rfc3161 and rfc3161-eidas-qualified unchanged.
  • pyproject.toml: [ots] extra removed, [scitt] extra added (cbor2, cryptography).
