UploadSleuth 1.0.2

This release adopts the new UploadSleuth – Media Audit & Cleanup name and hardens every filesystem action for WordPress.org directory review.

Highlights

  • Renamed the plugin, package, dashboard, WP-CLI command, and text domain to upload-sleuth.
  • Limited quarantine, restore, backup, and delete operations to file types recognised by WordPress.
  • Kept --all-files available for reporting while preventing it from expanding filesystem-action scope.
  • Replaced WP-CLI backup trees with one verified ZIP archive.
  • Stored runtime files only below the dedicated uploads/upload-sleuth directory.
  • Added direct-access protection files and a non-executable suffix for quarantined files.
  • Rejected symbolic links during quarantine and restore operations.

All findings remain review candidates rather than guarantees that a file is unused.
