What's Changed

  • Migrate from CameraX to Camera2
    • This resulted in huge gains in performance! Lowered the latency between pressing the shutter and capturing the image from ~450ms to ~160ms.
  • New hyperfocal mode
    • Zero shutter lag and locked focus at 2.2m (sharp from ~1.1m to infinity). Flash doesn't work though.
  • Toggle hide viewfinder. Long press the flash icon.
  • Red text mode.
    • For who might use this in pitch black, the red UI text may help. Long press the JPG/RAW/HF button.
  • Refinements to UI
