  • New - Interests and personalized onboarding: members choose interests, get suggested people to follow, and see an interest-aware feed.
  • New - Per-conversation message search in direct messages.
  • New - Direct messages run through the same content moderation as posts and comments, so blocked words can't be planted in a DM.
  • New - Followers and following open in a modal from the profile counts, and member profiles gain an overflow menu with Report.

  • Improve - Media links open the activity they were posted in by default. /media/{slug}/ redirects to that feed post, so media is not a separate public page; switch to dedicated media pages under Settings if you want a standalone page per item. Applies when BuddyNext is active.
  • Improve - Simplified upload modal: the type tabs are gone and the media type is auto-detected.
  • Improve - Non-public media now uses a viewer-aware thumbnail URL so previews respect visibility.
  • Improve - Gated images show the watermarked variant unblurred (the watermark is the protection); older imports self-heal through an automatic storage-path repair.
  • Fix - Media comments no longer leak onto unrelated posts or pages. They were stored against the post that shared the media's numeric ID, so a comment on an image could appear under a post with the same ID and inflate its comment count; existing comments are repaired automatically on update.
  • Fix - Competition pages (Compete, Battles, Challenges, Tournaments) now keep their MediaVerse styling when BuddyNext is active, instead of rendering unstyled.
  • Fix - Smart collections report their real item count in the list.
  • Fix - The media feed no longer returns empty when group covers are combined with trending or popular sorting.
  • Fix - AI moderation now runs when only auto-moderate is enabled (it was skipped before).
  • Fix - Theme-defense fixes for BuddyX and Reign (tab text, lightbox open) and Instagram action buttons hardened against theme button styles.
  • Fix - Cloud storage display and migration are more robust across admin operations.
  • Dev - Functional certification engine (wp mvs cert): boot smoke across every REST route plus dead-toggle oracles, gated at 100% coverage in CI.
  • Dev - Resolved all WP.org Plugin Check errors (30 to 0).
