Member-safety and privacy release: block, suspend, and report tools, member-initiated account deletion, and a complete GDPR export and erase map. Paired with WPMediaVerse Pro 2.1.0 - install and test both together.

  • New - Members can delete their own account, with a confirmation step and a grace window they can cancel.
  • New - Report tools are on by default, and Free now has a moderation reports queue for site owners.
  • New - Site owners can suspend a member, and every member has a reachable blocked-members list.
  • New - GDPR personal-data export and erasure cover every member-bearing table through one privacy map.
  • New - A configurable Large image size, plus a WP-CLI command to regenerate thumbnails after changing it.
  • Improve - Every REST write between members passes through one block-and-suspension gate, so a blocked or suspended member cannot act on another.
  • Improve - Erasing a member keeps shared records - the reports filed about them, and conversations others are still in - and anonymises them instead of destroying the evidence or the thread.
  • Improve - The app config endpoint exposes the site's terms, privacy, and safety surface for the mobile app.
  • Improve - REST timestamps are normalised to UTC ISO-8601 across the API, and reactions now report their timestamp.
  • Improve - Direct messaging reaches app parity, with accessibility and SEO fixes on the messaging surface.
  • Improve - Automatic image compression is now off by default, so uploaded photos keep their original quality unless you turn it on; removing hidden GPS and camera data still happens automatically, with no quality loss.
  • Fix - A page whose template another plugin resolved to null no longer triggers a fatal error on the front end.
  • Fix - The direct-message typing indicator now works on sites without a persistent object cache.
  • Fix - Dark mode no longer renders body text near-black on dark surfaces, and media surfaces pair foreground with background.
  • Dev - Added mvs_conversation_participants.typing_until and a rank_scan index on mvs_media_index (Migrator v22).
  • Compat - Lockstep with WPMediaVerse Pro 2.1.0 (https://github.com/vapvarun/wpmediaverse-pro/releases/tag/v2.1.0). Install and test both together.
